Where is a free app that connects people with services that move. You can get it from Google Play by using the QR code above or search in Play for "Where Cuegroup". An iOS version will be coming soon.
Where helps people find mobile vendors like Food Trucks. A Food Truck vendor may be at a different location each day, and perhaps may also move during the day. Where allows hungry consumers to find their favorite snack, and also see what other vendors are within their range. It is not just limited to food vendors, any mobile services can sign up for free and be found. There can be mobile cobblers, vegetable sellers, pet groomers, dealers, etc.
Where shows customers the vendors available in their area, or at any other selected area. It is available worldwide. Customers see a map with icons indicating vendor locations. The map can be zoomed and panned to any other location. Clicking on a vendor icon will display additional information. Even more details can be obtained by clicking through to the vendor's web page. If the vendor has provided a phone number, you can call or text them. Directions to the vendor's location are available for travel by car, walking, biking or public transportation. Customers can search for vendors matching their needs and add them to their list of favorites.
Customers do not need to authenticate themselves, unless they wish to post reviews. Vendors will need to authenticate themselves to update their information. They have a choice of using Google, Facebook, email, phone, etc. Where will not use any login or email information and will not share any information with anyone. See our privacy policy.
Vendors can configure and update their:
- Service Name (like Kaveri's Kachori)
- Service Type (food truck, mobile vendor, ...)
- Catchy blurb (~40 chars, like "Crispy, tasty, yummy for your tummy")
- Brief description (~500 chars, can include daily specials and deals)
- and optionally, Phone number, Web page URL, payment information, etc..
Vendors can advertize a description of their daily specials at any time. They can also update their Opening and Closing times each day manually or automatically using a weekly schedule. The vendor's mobile device can automatically determine the current location using GPS and update it. Alternatively, the vendor can set a new location on the map, or enter a street address. Customers can search for vendors using the Name, Type, Blurb and Description fields. They can call in their orders if a phone number is provided. They will soon be able to pay for their order.
A vendor can have multiple services, each with a different description and at a separate location. However, a mobile device can update the location of only one service. Also, the mobile device has to be kept on and the vendor should be logged on to Where.
